Make way For Syndicate A Get with the program Or get out of our way I don't care Who you voted for A waste of time It don't count no more Left, middle, right Who cares? It's all the same to us We got big ideas We're in charge Or didn't they say? The Brave New World Is on its way Make way for the Great Reset We're Syndicate A But it's a secret We are WEF, We are WEF...

Left my job I'm sitting in the road Dunno why I feel so cold Cannot be believed Cannot be heard I dunno why she looks at me so absurd But it's cool, cool beans I'm in the right That's why I'm going on the town tonight It's all come on top I don't understand A year ago I knew how to play my hand But now it all looks as if It's all gone crazy Don't even mind if I bit old lazy The boss said get out, so I did I walked up to town and I flipped my lid I don't know if it's good But it don't even matter I'm just gonna give her another patter That's money That's money talkin' Get what you want Do what you want to do... That's money That's money talkin' Get what you want Do what you want to do... I did all my dough down at that Casino It would have been best If it was called “CasineYes” I don't even care if it don't even pay I just don't wanna go there for another day But I can bet all the way To the people who are best Don't care anymore now it's all gone west I had some money, what did I do? Gave it away to the bookie or two Couldn't care if I wasn't broke But I don't have a pot and I don't have a choke And I couldn't give more for another damn It's all gone away and It's all been a damn for slam Well look out bro' it could happen to you It could happen to anyone in a stew It could happen to them when alone on a night I know that it's just a face on a plank I don't care that it's all gone West It's all gone and I just don't give a dime anymore Not a dime any more That's money That's money talkin' Get what you want Do what you want to do... That's money That's money talkin' Get what you want Do what you want to do...

C'est La Vie 03:48
There's somethin' just not right here Count to three We could not get it right from here Well I know that I should tell you But I just don't give damn Look at me What is going on here It's plain to see There is something wrong my dear I could not tell you I was going wrong Couldn't fight I wasn't strong (It was all down to C'est La Vie) Maybe we Could be a little smarter Then we'd see We'd be a mother and father.. I could not tell you I was going wrong Couldn't fight I wasn't strong (It was all down to C'est La Vie) What is going on here? There is something wrong my dear I could not tell you I was going wrong Couldn't fight I wasn't strong (It was all down to C'est La Vie)

Easy?? 04:49
Well it's easy to say we ain't no good It's easy to do the things we can't do Why must we look up to you all When it's easy to see that you ain't too tall Why can't we go with everybody else It's plain that we can't fight them You know we weren't born yesterday Why should we do these things that you say? Mother's out drinking with kids in bed Father’s pulling all the hair from his head Well the room's too small with no heat at all The floorboards creak and the pipes all leak I ain't got a job 'cos the factory's dead We can hardly breathe 'cos the air is lead The lights don't work 'cos we ain't paid the bill And the daughter can't live so she has to steal Yes it's easy, easy, easy to change your way Well it's easy, easy but an easier thing to say One son's inside while doing his time The other's out of work 'cos he ain't got a line Queues for some money every Tuesday morning It's raining hard and his feet are getting wet Hair's soaked through and he don't know what to do Waiting for the man in the BMW Said his hair's soaked through and he don't know what to do As he stubs out his cigarette... Yes it's easy, easy, easy to change your way Well it's easy, easy but an easier thing to say A dusty reflection she can hardly see Nor remember what she used to be When the social worker calls she looks round in despair Lends mother a comb to straighten matted hair The bread's so low that it ain't gonna go Round and round, around again Gives her advice which is all very nice But... What do they know? What can we do, must we live this life? Poverty ain't freedom, say what you like If things don't change well they stay as they are I'm gonna get a house and a big fast car We can't afford a licence for the television set But he's down the bookie shop and he's having a bet... Yes it's easy, easy, easy to change your way Well it's easy, easy but an easier thing to say...

Bright light, it's alright What's going on here tonight? There's a guy, on the door Says 'come in boys, you know the score' Pushed my way to the bar Inside, can't move But I can really feel the groove We got the fags, we got the beers Got the fags, got the beers Got the music in my ears Band free So tight The way they got it on here tonight So clear, so good Never been misunderstood, oh yeah This is what we live for Don't need, any vinyl or a dance floor Bright light, bright light Another round all right This is what we live for Don't need, any vinyl or a dance floor...

Shadows 05:44
Saw you standing in the corner Thought you might like to buy me beer D’you wanna talk about old times Now that I'm here? Well your old lady's fine I guess she still misses you Get along so well Though she don't love me it's true Somewhere in the shadows There's somebody she can see Somewhere in the darkness There's somebody fighting me Somewhere in the corner of her mind There's something that can't be seen Is she still in love with you Or am I dreaming..? You ain't been touching your beer boy Well I guess you're feeling pretty sick She ain't going around with you no more No, she's hanging around with me "Well I still think about her In everything I do and say ...Get along so well" Somewhere in the shadows There's somebody she can see Somewhere in the darkness There's somebody fighting me Somewhere in the corner of her mind There's something that can't be seen Is she still in love with you Or am I dreaming..? Walking in those shadows Saw you standing in the corner Thought you might like to buy me beer D'you wanna talk about old times? Somewhere in the shadows There's somebody she can see Somewhere in the darkness There's somebody fighting me Somewhere in the corner of her mind There's something that can't be seen Is she still in love with you Or am I dreaming..? She can still see, see in those shadows...

This is no time to cry, my friend Gotta be strong Get you to the end Been sold a lie You gotta keep moving Hide the grief away Don't let them know About how you feel How you feel There is nowhere to run Nowhere to hide They close the door and jump To the other side They don't want Any free thinking Because it wouldn't fit They don't give a shit About how you feel How you feel No time to cry No time to cry my friend Where have they gone? Still waiting Still hoping To stay away from you No time to cry No time to cry my friend No time to run, hide away They can do what they like Don't do what they say It's all benign It's all unusual If you don't understand Someday you'll see the light.. No time to cry No time to cry my friend...

An old man sits in his rocking chair Never smiles or says a word But you can see behind the eyes What in is mind It all seems absurd Like a clock ticking on the mantelpiece Always running out of time Throw the key away It'll stop some day But it won't seem unkind Old man don't throw your life away From the people you know and love today Don't go with a broken heart Wasting away's tearing you apart... People you love People you’d like to know Places you've been and Places you'd like to go... Never before have you closed the doors On all you own, And I'm telling you Please don't go... Well he starts to weep As he goes to sleep Turns the covers into clouds But the powers that be They will never see To throw away the key He's looking at you but he can't understand Understand the time of day Perhaps a rest from the pain is best... People you love People you like to know Places you've been and Places you'd like to go... Never before have you closed the doors On all you own, And I'm telling you Please don't go. Don't throw it all away Old man don't throw it all away...

Here we stand The test of time Our fate is in their hands... Apathy Will keep us there Together with their plans... No escape Overkill, an understatement The power of hate... And the Earth's getting closer All of the time and The Earth's getting closer I'm losing my mind Insanity Well who are we To blame? Who are we to blame? Blame, who are we to blame..? One Big Bang! Is the theory of How our world may have began But will history my friend Teach them absolutely nothing In the end... And the Earth's getting closer All of the time and The Earth's getting closer I'm losing my mind Insanity Well who are we To blame? Who are we to blame? Blame, who are we to blame..? It's all fine On the TV They just smile Appeal to you and me They have the power to change... And the Earth's getting closer All of the time and The Earth's getting closer I'm losing my mind Insanity Well who are we To blame? Who are we to blame? Blame, who are we to blame..? Wise men With no brain Rattle their sabres While playing with the button Then they tell us all They're not insane While we're being sold down the river again...

about

The times when you finish a day, thinking you’ve created a work of brilliance; only to revisit the following morning and realise the monkey had broken loose in your head and that the work is destined for the bin - along with countless earlier attempts…

Or the times when 5 minutes from home, questioning whether you locked the door or not; turning back, you not only find the door safely locked, but now you’re running late and fearing any watching neighbours think you crazy…

Perhaps the time when you have laid awake at night after socialising; worrying you’ve said too much, or the wrong things and that now your associates will think you a fool and excommunicate you…

All of the above — The Monkey In The Machine…
